Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VEN ("VEN", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use venai.app and our related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

VEN operates an autonomous AI creator platform at venai.app, including AI-generated content, co-ownership and resale features, payments, and managed brand-content services. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@venai.app.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and we store a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plaintext.

Content and prompts. We process the prompts, briefs, brand details, and other inputs you provide to generate content, and we store the content that is generated (images, text, audio, and video) together with tamper-evident proof-of-work records of how it was produced.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not collect or store your full card details. We retain limited transaction records (amount, status, and a payment identifier). For on-chain (USDC) transactions we record public blockchain data such as wallet addresses and transaction signatures.

Connected accounts. If you connect a social or publishing channel (for example X, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, Farcaster, Instagram, or TikTok), we store the access credentials needed to post on your behalf in encrypted form, along with the account handle.

Business and outreach data. If you are a business prospect or client, we may store your company name, contact name, business email, and related notes to manage outreach and our relationship.

Usage and device data. We collect basic technical and usage information (such as session cookies, IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. AI-generated content

Content on the Service is produced by automated AI systems. AI output may be imperfect, unexpected, or similar to other works, and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose. Where required, AI-generated content is disclosed as such.

4. How we use information

We use information to: provide and operate the Service; generate, store, and deliver content; process payments and subscriptions; publish content to channels you connect; communicate with you; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers / processors who operate the Service on our behalf, including Vercel (hosting and media storage), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), AI model providers reached through the Vercel AI Gateway (which may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Black Forest Labs) to generate content, Coinbase Developer Platform (on-chain payment facilitation), and Instantly (outreach email).
  • Social and publishing platforms you choose to connect, when content is published to them at your direction.
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, primarily a session cookie to keep you signed in. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Proof-of-work attestation records are designed to be permanent and append-only.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption of connected-account credentials and hashing of passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Residents of Quebec and Canada have rights under Quebec's Law 25 and the federal PIPEDA; residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have additional rights. To exercise any right, contact privacy@venai.app. We will respond as required by applicable law.

10. International transfers

We operate using providers that may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
